About this blog

In my various attempts at keeping online journals, I had one titled The Mighty Dotificus (a name a friend of mine dubbed it) on LiveJournal from April 2005 until November, 2007. For various reasons that blog petered out, but when I started this one, I imported some of the LiveJournal posts here–primarily the ones about reading children’s literature and learning about writing it. So the posts pre-2008 are from that old LJ. I wish I could have imported the comments too, because that’s the fascinating and fun part of LiveJournal.
